Baunæsgaard is one - worthy of preservation - four-winged farm with stone-covered courtyard. The farm has been at this place since 1611 - for more than 400 years.
After a fire 1658. the current half-timbered buildings is dating from the 1700. Build in an ancient building form, which still can be found on West Funen. The surrounding land belongs to the estate, also beaches and meadows at the Little Belt, which is a nature protection area under the international Ramsar Convention.
We offer an apartment, a holidayhouse and tourist and meeting rooms in the old buildings that also now is providing a framework for a local history collection. There are bike and tent camping in the old orchard, where accommodation is also possible in small Finnish log cabins, and stay ester boxes, all located with sea view.
