Island hoping with the island ferry

Make an island hop with the Island ferry and experience both Lyø and Avernakø on one or more days - on the same ticket. All tickets are return tickets - also when visiting one or both islands. You can combine your island-hop as you want. Stay one or more days. If you wish to do both islands in one day, we recommend that you visit Lyø first and then Avernakø. Example on how to make a one day island hop in the high season:

• From Faaborg to Lyø at 10.00 - From Lyø to Avernakø at 12.40 - From Avernakø back to Faaborg at 15.10 with arrival in Faaborg at 15.40. This gives you 2 hours on each island and an overall trip time including sailing of 5 hours and 40 minutes.
• From Faaborg to Lyø at 10.00 - From Lyø til Avernakø at 14.40 - From Avernakø back to Faaborg at 19.20 with arrival at 19.45. This gives you 4 hours on each island and an overall trip time including sailing of 9 hours and 45 minutes.

PLEASE NOTICE: When booking for an island hop, you have to book each trip individually for example: 1. trip: Faaborg - Lyø 2. trip Lyø - Avernakø 3. trip Avernakø - Faaborg.

The farm is situated with splendid views over the South Funen Archipelago. Only 1 km from a private beach plot with a jetty. Most of our main building is the original farmhouse from 1816 with half-timbered walls and thatched roof. We have a large garden with fruit trees, flowers and a duck pond. Garden furniture in several places throuout the garden - use it for free. We have sheep, ducks and cats. Country holiday in quiet and pleasant surroundings.
