Møllestien is a picturesque cobbled street in the heart of Aarhus. Many call it the prettiest street in Aarhus. In summer the hollyhocks and roses grow up against the tiny ancient houses with their small-paned windows and half-timbered walls. Most of the houses were built in the 18th century, and the whole street exudes old world charm. The street itself has existed for even longer. In 2003, in connection with archaeological excavations, pottery shards were found and dated to the late Viking period - early Middle Ages.
Møllestien 49 and 51 are the street's two smallest houses (about 40 square meters) each with a living room, kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor and a bedroom on the first floor. The stairs to the first floor are quite steep. Both houses have a small south-facing garden with flowers and garden furniture and an outdoor barbeque.
Møllestien is right in the centre of Aarhus between the Aros Art Museum and the Cathedral, and a short walk from shops, restaurants, cafes and museums.
