You get Tønder's best location right in the heart of Tønder with a view of the large park, the Vidåen and the Tøndermarsken. The house is only 200 meters from the pedestrian street.

The town house is from 1850, but was modernized in 2024 with underfloor heating in the kitchen, utility room and bathroom. You get 105 m2 on the 2nd floor and 3 terraces/patio.

NB: Everything is occupied in the Tønder Festival 2025 from August 24 to August 31.

We have owned the house since 1981 and have renovated the house 3 times. Most recently in 2024, when the entire house was freshly painted, the floors sanded and a new lovely terrace was made on the 1st floor with a view of the most beautiful park called Skulturhaven and the Tøndermarsken in the background.

You get 105 m2 on the 2nd floor.
On the ground floor there is a living room with a sofa bed (daybed 190 cm x 140cm), dining room, modern kitchen, utility room and bathroom with underfloor heating.

On the 1st floor there is a beautiful living room with the best view in Tønder (see pictures!), a bedroom with a double bed (200 cm x 140 cm). There is also a large loft with 2 extra beds (2 x 200 cm x 90 cm).

From the living room there is access to the terrace on the 1st floor with a fantastic view of the Sculpture Park and Tøndermarsken. Here you can enjoy breakfast and lunch to the fullest. If it gets too hot, you can use the courtyard, which also has a dining area for 4 people.
Despite its location in the city center, it is quiet and beautiful here all year round. The house has district heating and can also be supplemented with a wood-burning stove in the winter.

Tønder town is rich in culture, history and music (Tønder Festival - last week in August). Tønder's beautiful pedestrian street with many different shops, cafes and restaurants is also worth a visit. There are 4 good places to eat within 300 meters. See manual!

The phenomenon 'Black Sun' can be experienced in March-April and again in September-October, when 100,000 starlings dance in the sky just before sunset.

The lovely and beautiful island - Rømø, with Europe's widest and largest beach is only 40 minutes away by car.

The German island of Sylt (Sylt - Germany's answer to Monaco) can also be visited within 1 hour by car and train from Niebøll.

South Jutland also has plenty to offer in terms of history, nature and culture. See link for activity options.

The entire home is at your disposal including all outdoor areas.

There is a ladder up to the loft from the living room on the 1st floor.

Bed linen and towels can be rented for €20 (150kr) per set during your rental period. Please let us know in good time.

Alternatively, you can bring your own bed linen and towels.

In the house there is a description of the property with pictures that tells you everything about the house, the town of Tønder, museums, restaurants and cafés. We will send this to you in good time as a PDF file by e-mail.

We have thorough communication with all guests before, during and after their stay.

If there are any challenges/problems, we will respond within 2 hours. Over the past 11 years, we have only had satisfied guests with a 4.95 star rating out of 5 possible (Airbnb).

Loading and unloading can be done at the house on the street. Please park at Tønderhallerne about 300 meters from the house (free). The open space is a parking-free zone!

We have a key box in the shed with a key. The code for the key box will be provided 3 days before arrival.

Electricity consumption is included.
