Hegnegården is beautifully situated on Orø, only one car drive from the Copenhagen Town Hall Square. The hosts Jette and John Porting live on the farm and have decorated the rooms and a café with Portuguese cuisine in some of the wings. The place is also iddeal for major events and courses.
The farm is very well maintained and characterized by quality in the choice of interior design and furniture. We are looking forward to nice and peaceful encounters. Many of our guests come to enjoy direct access to nature and the beautiful surroundings.
Our own forestry equipment can be used by both children and adults - for play and movement. Among the trees, there is also an exhibition of sculptures by artists John Rud and Steen Langvad.
There are also often cultural events on Hegnegården exhibitions, serious music, author meetings.
